Mrs. Cynthia Boone- January-February


Inspired Missionary Cynthia Boone is married to Deacon Gregory Boone and they have four sons; Isaiah, Jordan, Corey and Kamari. She is a native of Lawrenceville, VA and is the daughter of Evangelist Melvina Crutchfield and the late Allen Crutchfield. She attended Brunswick County Schools and was able to obtain her GED in 2000, and later graduated from Bluefield College with a Bachelors of Art in Human Services. She has been employed with the Virginia Department of Corrections for over 11 years and currently serves as the Central Regional Ombudsman.

She has a passion for young people and believe that we must effectively equip them with the word of God in order for them to be kingdom builders. Cynthia diligently seek God for guidance concerning which way He desires her to lead the youth ministry locally and nationally. Her greatest aspiration is to be able to deter children from the lifestyles that can lead them to be incarcerated at the very place that she has to work at daily.

Cynthia is a faithful member of Christian Antioch Church in Christ #5, Ebony VA where she serves under the leadership and mentorship of Bishop Ernest Brown Sr. She humbly accepts her roles in the ministry as Praise and Worship Leader, Youth Sunday School Teacher, Youth Department President, Finance Officer, Church Announcer/Bulletin Keeper, Administrative Assistant to the Pastor, and National Youth President of the Christian Antioch Church in Christ, Inc.

Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.
